Chapter 2: I Love You, Chicken Fingers

"You're a goddamn cold person Frosty. Don't you care for anyone but yourself? Would it kill you to be nice? You have a deep hatred against me and my friends... Admit it already."

I walk down an empty street. I'm cold. I start to shiver. Its night time. The street lanterns and occasional truck lights are the only sources of light. All of the local restaurants and pharmacies are in darkness. It's just me, all alone, without an iPod. I flip on the hood of my dark blue sweatshirt and walk at a comfortable pace.

These words keep invading my thoughts. I try to pretend not to care, but deep down it hurts. Every member of a single chat room enjoys hating my guts. I do not want to numb the pain, I embrace it.  What happens if I let their comments get to me?

A person magically appears on a bench in front of an abandoned bowling alley. He has a rather thick beard, and is hiding under a pair of dark sunglasses. Grease stains cover his blue shirt and he is laughing hysterically. He is wearing a thick golden chain, and in his veiny hands is a boxy laptop. I stop and sit next to him. The man does not seem to acknowledge my presence.

I peak over his shoulder and glance at the computer screen. He is on a chat room, and everyone seems to be having a swell time. "LMAO" and "ROFL" cover the chat area. Suddenly, a chatter brings up the topic of a Club Penguin Neighborhood post. There was a passage within the post that criticized everyone in that chat room. For a moment, the man looks away from the computer screen. He drops the laptop and sighs.

The figure disappears. I step away from the bench and continue my walk. I swiftly place my hands in the pockets of my grey sweatpants. I feel for that poor man. Over the past few months, these bizarre situations scurry through my imagination on a daily basis. It's as if someone is trying to tell me something. Sometimes it is difficult for me to understand the difference between my reality and my fantasies.

There's a small Chinese restaurant open until two in the morning down my town's main street. Tonight it is empty. I push open the squeaky door and roam into it's small takeout room. I order a basket of chicken fingers for a quick snack. The service is crazy fast, and the food is entirely healthy. I grab my basket, throw a few bucks on the container and thank the nice foreign woman. I hop on a stool and pull out a wrinkled paper ball.

Using my handy dandy pocket pencil, I jot down words. Things like story ideas, challenges and rhyme patterns cover the sheet. This time it's a little different. I scribble the words "Awake-A-Thon" down. Man, these chicken fingers are fantastic... I wonder how much protein they contain?

Sleeping is for straight up swagger jackers

If your body did not require sleep, wouldn't life be so much more epic? You could chill at the gym until sunrise, jog around the city at midnight and go on an endless road trip in Witty12's wheelless van... Sweetastic, right? Well, guess what dudes, the penguins of Story-Book Survival are pulling an extreme all nighter this Friday! Boom, boom, pow.

Winning this challenge is as easy as going blind! Starting exactly at 8:00 PM, all competitors must be in the Boiler Room ready to do absolutely nothing. If anyone logs off of Club Penguin for any reason, they are certainly out. Sir Frostylittle (That's me!) will not be logged onto Club Penguin the entire time, because all beasts need sleep. You are required to keep a conversation going on Club Penguin with your peers!

Better start napping.

New Story-Book Survival Cast Wallpaper!

Thank ya very much Master Ron Champ! (Hey over here: Click the picture to enlarge...)

This week is one of those slow, sleepy weeks for Club Penguin Neighborhood. Nothings really going on, and everyone is on the edge of their seats waiting for Story-Book Survival to begin. Luckily for you, Sir Timelord Ron the magnificent decided to design a cast wallpaper featuring every current (and evicted) contestant of SBS! Add this rocking group photo to your phone, use it as your computer background, stick it up on your boxy fridge, staple it to your mom's nose... Et cetera!

Well, do you have any last minute questions involving Story-Book Survival?

Neighborhood Survival Season 2 Awards!

Thank-you for an amazing season!

Frostylittle (That's me!) created and hosted Neighborhood Survival Season 2 all by himself. I may have been the only penguin working behind the scenes, but you Frostyflakes are the fans who kept the show going! Every neighbor dedicated so much time into each challenge, and all of us deserve to pat ourselves on the back. (Especially you Matbolabc!) Season 2 made life on the internet during the summer months exciting, because of readers like you!

Above is a video showing the reward show results for season 2 of Neighborhood Survival. Congratulations winning neighbors!

Story-Book Survival Is Back!

Once upon a time...

There was a Neighborhood Survival spin-off series by the name of Story-Book Survival! This special season was based entirely off of a story-book, written by Frostylittle. (That's me!) The stories I wrote were stuffed with bloody horror scenes, controversial messages and crazy characters from around Club Penguin! The season was cancelled in 2010 because of my personal problems, and it has become a cult hit ever since...

Story-Book Survival is back again! There were 4 remaining penguins when this Club Penguin game show got was ripped down from CPN's history... But now the season is being finished with 7 contestants! These lucky penguins will waddle through 6 weeks of original Club Penguin fun. The last one standing will be crowned the winner of Story-Book Survival, and will rewarded a 2-month Club Penguin membership!

The end...

Which former Story-Book Survival contestants should participate in the top 7?

Live Neighborhood Survival Eviction!

Hey, remember me? Cough... The orange guy who goes to the gym... Cough!

You guessed right, it's Frostylittle here typing for your entertainment! Every Frostyflake floating in my breakfast bowl of white milk can agree that evictions are brutal. Does anyone enjoy being eliminated from Club Penguin's funnest event? Of Course not! Well, Frostylittle (That's me... Why do I need to tell you this information?) just figured out how to make things even worse.

Directly after Friday night's challenge, the neighbor who won will cast their vote to kick someone out of the competition! This dramatic event will happen live in front of everyone who's hanging around the chat room. Yikes! It looks like someone from the MickeyFaceBolabc alliance will be packing their bags.

Any last minute questions about the challenge?

Club Penguin: Remembering 9/11

Let's take a step away from Club Penguin...

On September 11th at 9:45 AM in New York city, a photographer by the name of Richard Drew captured a picture of a man. The mysterious man was trapped on an upper floor in the North Tower of the World Trade Center. This particular section of the North Tower was covered in poisonous smoke and deadly fire. Instead of dying in the smoke and fire, he decided to jump.

The man is identified as Jonathan Briley, an employee who worked in a top-floor restaurant. Along with many others, Jonathan took his own life to prove a point. He wanted to prove to the terrorists who attacked America that he still has strength. Instead of letting the terrorists burn him to death, Jonathan wanted to end his life on his own will.

On the morning of 9/11, Hijackers seized 4 plans from Boston that were on route to Los Angeles.

At 8:46 AM, Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

At 9:03 AM, Flight 173 crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center.

At 9:37 AM, Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon located in Virginia.

At 10:03 AM, Flight 93 crashes south of Pittsburgh. The hijackers and passengers battled in the cockpit, ultimately crashing the plane in a deserted area.

The word hero is an overused word nowadays. The everyday people who battled for America on 9/11, are real heroes! That falling man is stronger than any comic book superhero to date. The firefighters who ran through smoke to save the lives of civilians are a true justice league. The passengers who fought with the hijackers and gave their lives on Flight 93 are the ones to look up to.

Silly Club Penguin chat room brawls and mean tweets are a speck of smoke compared to what happened on September 11th. We should appreciate the fact that we are alive today! As a community, Frostylittle (That's me!) believes that we should focus more attention on the bigger problems of the Earth. Through the power of the internet, penguins can get together to change the world!

What do you remember about 9/11? How did it effect you?

School Is Back In Session!

Aw man... School is back in town!

Three months ago, Club Penguin Neighborhood resurrected from the dead and penguins from around the world splashed into Season 2 of Neighborhood Survival. This summer went by as fast as Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog! Frostylittle (That's me!) had a fantastic time meeting new friends and hosting this Club Penguin Game Show. Too bad our bright summer days have come to an end!

Ready to learn a little more about our world? Most penguins (Ahem, I mean children!) despise the idea of sitting around in a dusty classroom, but juicing up your brain is a good thing! Good grades lead to a good college, and studying at a good college leads to success. What do I mean by success? Money, cha-ching!

What was your favorite summer moment?

Challenge 10: The Soccer Game!

Soccer... Rocks!

It's the last week of teams, (Aw!) and we're kicking it old school with a game of soccer! Remember way back in season 1 when the Soccer game was the first live challenge? It was a blast, and surely a fan favorite! This week Dumbledore's Army will be taking the left side of the field as their home, and the Gangsta Stalkers will control the right.

The game will go up to 30 goals, and the first team to reach that amount wins! Only the current competitors of Neighborhood Survival will be allowed to compete, so that means no replacements. The teams have very small numbers right now, and it would be difficult to vote out one of your friends. Do I smell another twist...?

Good luck!

A Boy Dreaming Big!

Boom!

His heart's fire burns up the night,

This bro is ready to start a fight,

The clock starts ticking and the world keeps spinning,

This guy is sticking around to keep on winning.

But wait...

How is he going to achieve the core of the dreams?

God tells him to believe and to ignore the mob's screams,

The boy is afraid of the fact that he's all alone,

How can he pull through if his mind's an arctic zone?

God says...

Boy you have an entire family by your side,

They have always supported you on this bumpy ride,

Go visit home and talk to your mother,

Her love will help you my dear brother.

Now...

The boy has taken over the entire universe,

God's advice destroyed anger's devastating curse,

Thanks to his mother's wonderful love,

The boy's spirit is as high as a dove...

Club Penguin needs someone to make everything change, and CP's messenger appears o-range!

The Magical Gift of Challenge 8!

Hey orange friends!

Did you read the Challenge 8 post? (Click me to read!) This week one team just might earn a magical gift, but only if they decide to gamble their safety! What exactly is this magical gift? Will it help the team or will it destroy the team? If a lucky penguin can guess what the mysterious gift is, I'll let them know that they guessed right! Cool?

Can you figure out what the mysterious gift is? Comment with your idea!

Challenge 8: Penguin's Got Talent!

Snap it up for the top 8!

You are familiar with the game musical chairs, right? You know, that game where everyone walks around a room carefully keeping an eye on a nearby chair. Right when the music stops, your supposed to dash for a chair and sit your behind on it as quick as Sonic the Hedgehog! The person left standing without a chair is out.

This challenge has a similar theme to musical chairs! All of the contestants will be sent up to the stage to perform for my entourage and I. By perform, I mean entertain us! Tell jokes, juggle, dance, sing, rap or anything that will keep our eyes glued. When I yell "STOP", all of the contestants are required to stand perfectly still.

My little gang sitting in the audience will whisper a few times back and fourth sharing our opinions. One chubby penguin will be selected, and that penguin will be kicked off the stage! The last competitor standing wins the challenge for their team. However, this time around there's a twist! The winning team can either receive a mysterious gift and do another round of this game, or just keep safety for themselves! (If the winning team chooses safety, the losing team will be given the gift!)

CPN is Sticking Around!

*Thanks Slider94 for the above picture!*

I'm alive again.

No one can touch my accomplishments. I demand respect and earn respect. Anyone who takes the time to insult my glory can staple the words "Career Suicide" on their forehead. Haters can keep buzzing and bumbling but I juggle bee nests for a hobby.

I was at an all time low in life. Depression turned out to be a nasty case of lice that sucked away my personality. The doctor prescribed running as my new shampoo. My forte for long distance flushed out that negativity.

Here comes the positivity. You lifeless critics inhale oxygen but I prefer sucking in favorableness. I'm taking Lady Gaga's spot on the Edge of Glory. Who needs to wear bubble wrap when you can bench the weight of the moon for a warm up exercise.

I'm on top of the world. I've never felt so high off of being pure and true to myself. No one can stop me from grabbing the title and proving my power. Call me big headed but I'm happy with where I'm at.

Club Penguin Neighborhood is sticking around for a little longer! Expect at least three and a half more seasons of the Survival series after Season 2 ends. Stay tuned for more information! Keep rocking neighbors.

Fired From The Pizza Business!

The Pizza Parlor was complete chaos!

Angry customers lounging around the room were demanding the attention of waiters. Frostylittle (That's me!) turned into a raging customer and screamed at every penguin in sight! Dumbledore's Army won the challenge with their professional waiters who knew how to fake a smile. This competition was a hardcore blast of pure fun!
"I get bullied a lot in school and don't have many friends so having a friend like you makes me really want to do the best for you."

•Cammycam09: Cammycam09 is a positive young man who lives life with happiness! He has a very warm personality, and he tends to make everyone around him totally comfortable! Can this bubble of happiness win Neighborhood Survival before he pops?

Cammycam09 is eliminated from Neighborhood Survival. Mr. 09 unfortunately could not handle the pressure of the Pizza industry! During the challenge, Cammy lost his cool with a certain angry customer and was fired by Hedgehog14. Cammy's mistake caused the Gangsta Stalkers to lose the challenge, so he was sent home packing... Sorry bud!

Anything to say to poor Cammycam09?

Should Frostyflakes Be Reopened?

A long time ago... in a galaxy far, far away...

The Frostyflakes chat room was loaded with penguins! Everyone got along greatly and every conversation was a fun time. Frostyflakes was the best place to hangout with a can of Pepsi and a bag of barbecue chips! But everything changed, oh so quickly...

It has been over two years since Club Penguin Neighborhood was founded, and penguins seem to have moved on! Frostyflakes became a place to visit when the background of a popular chat got boring to look at. Penguins from around the world used to use Frostyflakes as their homepage!

Should Frostyflakes be reopened? (Your opinion is needed!)

The Frostyflakes Chat Room Is Closed!

Hey folks,

The Frostyflakes chat room is no longer in service! Club Penguin Neighborhood has always revolved around Neighborhood Survival, and a lifeless chat room is no longer needed. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to visit Frostyflakes when no one else would! The chat room will solely be open for live Neighborhood Survival challenges... Sorry guys!

Challenge 3: Sketching a Penguin!

Hiya penguins,

Sketching is as easy as melting an ice cream on a hot summer day! You"ll clearly need some paper, a pencil or two, a thick eraser and a camera of some sort. Once you've got your materials figured out, draw away! All I want is a simple sketch of your penguin, and don't be afraid to pump it up!

No computer programs are allowed, but feel free to paint your picture. I know not everyone is planning on becoming an artist, and Art class might not be your forte. Just try your hardest, because I have a feeling everyone will want to make it past this week!

You've got until Thursday, so give it your all!

Looking back with Slider94!

*This post is based off of "Chilling with Outtacntrll!" Click here to view this ancient post!*
Frostylittle:

Wow!

Slider94 and I have been buddies since way back in 2009! Slider was one of the first fans of Club Penguin Neighborhood, and we have been tight ever since. We both have witnessed so much evolution when it comes to the world of Club Penguin! Actually, just the other night we had an enormous conversation about the past!

Outtacntrll was a contestant in season 1 of Neighborhood Survival, and a spectacular friend to all of us! He is specifically famous for dominating Neighborhood Survival by winning the first two challenges. Without Outacntrll, Club Penguin chat rooms would not exist and this very blog would be completely different! Unfortunately he vanished shortly after getting eliminated from this game show, and we all miss him...

Slider94:
Spiffiness!

Well I think its safe to say ive been around here for...a while... I have seen many good friends leave, and never have contact with them again :'( I have also made many new awesome friends! :D Thats just the way it goes, they come and go. Im happy to still be with the ones I have been with for the long run! However, Outtacntrll was one of my best friends! [like the Timmay of the early days! lol HI TIMMAY! :D] He, Frosty, and I would hang out ALOT! We did many things and games together!

I hate to say I forget about him sometimes, but I do. And when memories flow back, I chocke up because I didnt realize how great it was at teh time. Not being able to contact Outta now really saddens me (and Frosty). I know he was 'just a CP friend' but no, he was more. We are ALL more than that here. We are real friends! (just through the internet... you know what i mean!) I would do ANYTHING to find a way to contact Outta! You dont know how good something is until its gone...

Do you miss anyone from Club Penguin?

Everyone is required to leave a comment on these posts confirming their in on the challenge. Every challenge is different, and every challenge is a bucket full of fun!

The live challenges will be held on Fridays, and the "not live" challenges will end on fridays! (You'll get what I mean when the season starts!) Timezones have always been a problem, so what times work for you? After the challenge is over, everyone will vote out who they think deserves to get the cut! Send in Your Penguin Picture!

Ready to start the season soon?

Neighborhood Survival will be coming to you in about 3 weeks! But for now, I need a picture of all the contestants as soon as possible. Your penguin picture (Nope, I am not asking for a real-life photo!) will be used for wallpapers, posts, banners and all that cool stuff! I respect every competitor in Neighborhood Survival, and I promise you that I will never use your penguins for bad purposes.

Grabbing your penguin picture is easy and can be done on any computer! First, just log onto your Club Penguin account and click on your penguin. Now remove your background and pin. Make sure your looking good, and snap a screen shot! (This is different for every computer, I recommend Google for help) Paste this picture onto whatever designing program you have available. It would be very helpful if you could place your penguin in front of a transparent background!

Leave the link to your penguin in the comment section BELOW.
