Hey neighbors,Remember that mysterious gift I mentioned last week? Sadly, no team was able to fill an entire room on Club Penguin... But both teams managed to throw some awesome parties! What exactly was this mysterious gift? Hmm, I thought you'd never ask!
The gift was the addition of a brand new contestant to the winning team! The captain of the team that filled a Club Penguin room would select a penguin who signed up for Neighborhood Survival. (Someone who did not make the cut to the final cast!) That selected penguin would become an official cast member of Neighborhood Survival! Aw... Too bad nobody filled a room.
Cool right?

In my real life I am used to taking the back seat. I'm used to keeping my head down and never voicing my opinions... My family and I have gone through some real struggles including my drug-addicted aunt who abused her 2 baby sons who I now call my brothers... My uncle committed suicide less than a year ago and I never had a chance to tell him good-bye.... Over the last 5 years I have lost my brother who no longer lives with me, I lost my grandmother to cancer... I lost my grandfather who was one of my best friends in the christmas of 08 and my aunt in 06... Everyday for me is a fight with my parents.... My dad has called me pathetic, useless, a faggot, and he has even told me before that he can't wait to die because he will be away from me...
At school I cower my head and hide in the shadows of the people I am afraid will reject me and not accept me for who I am... I'm afraid to come out of my shell in fear that I will not be accepted...
I have not had a real relationship since my girlfriend broke my heart and cheated on me in 09... She was my first love and my last girlfriend...
At work I stay behind a counter dealing with rude and oblivous people who have no respect for me.. I am in way over my head and spend a majority of my freetime working 30 hours a week for minimum wage...
I want everyone reading this to know how important the internet is to me... I feel alone in my real life, and I feel as if I have nobody to go to.... Over the last week I have seen a therapist twice to talk to.... He told me that I suffer from an emotional disorder due to constant anxiety and poor self image... Only 1 person knew this until now...
This is why this place means so much to me... The internet is the first place to ever give me true friends and a family and a chatroom I can call home... I have spent the last 3 years of my life on the computer, talking to the only people who get me.... When I say my chat is my world I truly mean it... It's not about club penguin... It's not about competing in a gameshow....
It's about proving my worth as a human being and feeling important for once in my life... It's about showing my brother who I love with all my heart how much he means to me by giving him the coin code.... I just want people to understand this is so important to me....
Frosty, please understand this truly means so much to me... If it didn't mean anything to me I wouldnt still be around this place at 17 years old.... This is all I have and I just want a chance, I know how pathetic it is coming from someone my age but I am sobbing as I type this... please can I have a chance.... please :(

Actually, as you can see people are very excited about the addition of a new contestant! It's very fair in my opinion because the new teammate is an award to the entire team. The fact that this player missed 5 weeks of Neighborhood Survival might put a target on their back! (Which means they'll have a hard time winning!)

If a team managed to fill a room... You would be an option! The team captain's job would be to select a player from the sign-ups who didn't make it. That player would join the competition! Which means... It could have been you!
